I qualified in 1999 at Manchester University. I completed my GP training in Salford in 2003 and joined the practice as a full time partner in 2006. My clinical interests are Cardiovascular Medicine, Diabetes and Men’s Health. 

I am happily married with one child. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, music and supporting Manchester United!

I graduated from Manchester Medical School in 1996. I joined the practice in 2003 and became a partner in 2010.

I really enjoy the variety of General practice. I have a particular interest in women’s health including gynaecology, sexual heath, contraception and HRT. I fit intrauterine devices (coils) and also work in a community gynaecology clinic in Warrington. I undertake child health surveillance. 

I am married with 2 children. I enjoy playing tennis and walking our crazy spaniel!

I graduated from St Andrew's University in 1998 and from Manchester University in 2001. I joined the Practice in 2006 as a salaried doctor, before becoming a partner in 2010. My specific clinical interests include Dermatology, Diabetes and Women's Health. I fit intrauterine devices (coils), contraceptive implants and do minor surgery for the practice. I undertake child health surveillance.

I qualified as a GP in 2010 and joined Bramhall & Shaw Heath Medical Group in 2014 as a Salaried GP. I became a GP Partner in 2018. I work full time for the Practice. 

I am a clinical supervisor for the Foundation Trainees who are placed with the practice during their two years of initial training after medical school. Many of these trainees then proceed to join the GP Training Scheme (a further 3 years) or a variety of hospital or other specialist training Scheme eg General Surgery, General Medicine or Paediatrics. 

My areas of clinical interest are musculoskeletal medicine and diabetes. 

 

Dr Ahmed - GP Partner

I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2006.  Having completed my GP training on the Salford and Trafford rotation, I qualified as a GP in 2013.  I joined Bramhall and Shaw Heath as a Partner in January 2023.  I have particular interests in Dermatology and have completed an additional diploma in this area.  I enjoy teaching and training Medical Students and Trainee GPs and am also a GP appraiser.

I am married with 3 children and enjoy spending time with friends and family outside of work.  I particularly enjoy playing netball and watching football in my spare time.

 

Dr Walker - GP Partner

I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2013 and subsequently completed my GP training in 2019. After working in practices around Manchester, I joined Bramhall and Shaw Heath as a partner in January 2023. I have a particular interest in Diabetes.   

I am married with 5 children which keeps me busy. However, outside of this I still enjoy travelling and meeting up with friends and family.  

 

Dr Mahmood – GP Partner

I graduated from the University of Liverpool Medical School in 2011. I went on to complete my GP training in the East Cheshire region becoming a qualified GP in 2017.

Working locally in the Greater Manchester and Stockport area in particular, I have been working with Bramhall and Shaw Heath Medical group for a few years and joined as a partner in January 2023.

My clinical areas of interests are minor surgery which includes joint injections and Men’s Health.  

 

Dr Siriwardena - Salaried GP

Dr Siriwardena qualified in 1983 at Edinburgh and joined the Practice in 1999.

 

Dr Collins - Salaried GP

I qualified from University College London in 1998 and worked in London in Infectious Diseases and Genitourinary Medicine before moving to Manchester in 2006 formally training in Bolton as a GP. My clinical interests remain in women and men's sexual and reproductive health including HIV.

I usually spend 2 days a week in the practice and 2 days at The University of Manchester, where I am a senior lecturer on the Medical School MBChB programme. I am passionate about medical student education in primary care.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, 2 dogs and outdoor swimming.

 

Dr Tack - Salaried GP

Dr Tack graduated from Warwick University in 2008. She joined the practice in September 2014. Her special interests are Women's health, family planning, child health and medical education.
