The Practice now opens every Saturday morning at Shaw Heath.  This service is for patients who work and cannot attend on weekdays

District Nurse
The district nurses are based at Shaw Heath Health Centre and do a clinic for dressings, removal of stitches, ear syringing etc. Those unable to attend the clinic may be visited at home. The district nurses may be contacted on 474 0572.
Health Visitors
The health visitor is a registered nurse who has received further training to enable him/her to promote health and detect health problems. The health visitors see clients at home and in clinics at Shaw Heath Health Centre. They give information and advice on a wide range of health matters covering many aspects of health care from the very young to the elderly. The health visitors may be contacted on 477 5025.
Midwives
Midwives attend the antenatal clinics at both surgeries and are based at Stepping Hill Hospital. They can be contacted at any stage during pregnancy and are willing to talk either at the surgery or at home. Preparation for parenthood classes are run throughout the year by the midwives and health visitors. The midwife for your area can be contacted on 419 5282.
