The Practice now opens every Saturday morning at Shaw Heath.  This service is for patients who work and cannot attend on weekdays

Sister Carolyn Murphy (f)
Practice Nurse

RGN. Registered Midwife. Post Graduate Midwifery Diploma

Sister Murphy qualified at Stepping Hill Hospital in 1982 and then as a Midwife at St Thomas/Guy's Hospital London in 1985. She joined the Practice in February 2003 and lists her particular interests as asthma, heart disease and travel health.

She is married with two daughters and a cat called Maisy. She enjoys water aerobics, swimming, going to the theatre, travel and gardening.
Sister Angela Barratt-Smith (f)
Practice Nurse

RGN. Dip N. BSc (Hons) Nursing

Angela joined the Practice in May 2005 having qualified in 1995 and completed her nursing degree in 2003 at Manchester University. She is particularly interested in travel health, asthma and chronic disease management.

She enjoys running marathons and half marathons, socialising and reading

Dip N. Gill qualified at Manchester University in 2006 and joined the Practice in 2007.

The Health Care Assistant Pat Harrison works under the supervision of a qualified nurse. Amongst her tasks she is able to take blood and check blood pressure.
